This website started out as the website for the “JEdutainment Podcast” program. It eventually morphed into a place for me to document useful information about learning Japanese and living in Japan. In March 2007 I moved to Tokyo to study Japanese. What you’ll find here are my real-life encounters since then. I hope you find it useful and enjoyable.

Also embedded within this website is The JEdutainment Podcast Program. This podcast is for native English speakers who are students of the Japanese language. It is intended to help increase vocabulary. The show takes a unique approach by mixing spoken word vocabulary lessons over instrumental DJ Mix Sets. This show focuses on vocabulary and is meant to be a fun supplement to other educational tools. We hope that you enjoy listening to the podcast and find it helpful.
